The Sinking Font
No its not an optical illusion. The font is sinking.
We are still brainstorming how we are going to move it. It is solid stone and is a survivor of the 1843 earthquake, an account of which can be read here (http://www.stjohnthedivineantigua.com/history.htm). One thing is for sure, when we move it, we wont move it far.
